Frequently Asked Questions
Our standard turnaround time for alloy wheel refurbishment is 2 days. This covers most diamond cut alloys and powder coated wheels. Certain types of alloy wheels require a bit more time, such as split rim alloys, and certain specialist finishes, such as two tone, may require some additional time too. If we require more than 2 days for your wheel refurb then you will be advised of this on the estimate.
Wheel Surgery will always be able to repair your wheel in 2 days for:
- Powder Coated wheels
- Most Diamond Cut alloys
- Satin Lacquer
- Matte Lacquer

Wheel Surgery offers a business alloy wheel collection and delivery service, where we will collect the wheel from your site and return it to you two days later with the alloy wheel refurbished, rebalanced and with the tyre fitted. At the moment Wheel Surgery doesn't have the facility for alloy wheel collection from the house of a private customer. However all Surgeries have bays for private customers to drop off their car, where our specialists will remove and replace the wheel as part of the alloy wheel repair service with your car ready to collect 2 days later.
As Wheel Surgery exclusively use OE coatings for our alloy wheel repairs, we are so confident about our quality that we offer a 12 month guarantee on your alloy wheel refurbishment. If your coating starts to bubble, peel or come off within 12 months of your wheel repair, Wheel Surgery will refurbish your alloy wheel for free. Unfortunately the guarantee is void if you re-damage your wheel in any way after your wheel refurb, including kerbing.
As yet we haven't had a single claim on our guarantee, but you can have peace of mind knowing your alloy wheel refurb by Wheel Surgery will last.
